Description
According to The Black Dog Institute, almost half of all Australians will experience a mental illness in their lifetime. HeadOn is a 6 x 10 minute documentary web-series presented by acclaimed filmmaker Darius Devas. The series examines the personal stories of diverse millennial Australians suffering from mental health and is driven by Darius’ desire to understand the loss of his friend to suicide, as well as his own journey through anxiety. With the onset of mental illness typically starting in 18-24 year olds, HeadOn is targeted at this demographic and told in a short-form online environment, designed to reach this millennial audience and create awareness around how they can access support and begin making positive changes in their lives.
